Thanks for visiting SianMurphyCopywriter.  I am Sian Murphy and I help small business owners market their services or products online, without them spending £thousands on websites, copywriters and advertising.

The idea started from being around some of my friends, and my son Elliot Farrell Hughes, who had qualified as Personal Trainers, NLP Practitioners, Coaches and Writers, but then needed to get clients and wanted an online presence to show up against their competitors.

Plus, whilst they were brilliant at actually running their workshops and coaching programmes, it wasn’t so easy sorting out what to name them so as to entice the paying clients to book up.

Today I’m a Direct Response Copywriter, Writer, Marketer, Business Coach, Certified  NLP Practitioner and Trainer, but my background is very different.

I became interested in the thought processes which drive human behaviour when I studied Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) for business, and these principles now infiltrate all my work. Wherever and however you look for your clients, you will be needing the right copy and marketing approach, and the words on the page are only half the story.  My role as a copywriter and business consultant is to draw out what makes you special and help you present that to the world.

I started out very differently with a 25 year career in Local Government and Central Government Quangos in professional and senior management roles.

Bored rigid, I started studying internet marketing with Stephen Pierce and more recently I’ve studied and written for the world renowned copywriter and marketer Alan Forrest Smith.  Right now I’m working alongside the internet marketer Tracy Repchuk and manage Tracy’s internet marketing forum.

Along with my business partners Bruce Bird and Laurie Dalton, I launched the London based Internet Marketing Group and Membership Programme Smart Marketing Warriors. The group is supported by Stephen and Alicia Pierce and also owes a lot to Tracy for her magnificent membership system.

I really learnt the art of writing in local government, which is really all about persuading people to do things they don’t want to.  I also spent 10 years at Kings College London, which must have helped a bit.  Writing council reports, essays and dissertations couldn’t have been a more boring, or thorough, training school. I also practiced strategic development, resource analysis, management and transformation, and I’m damn good at isolating critical control points, and today I use these skills when I work with clients to help them bring structure, drive and focus into their business.

I’m married to Mark Jennings and together we run our company Stormchasers, which grew out of us learning how to change our lives without fear.  Together we run numerous internet marketing and lead generation websites; the membership site Leaving The Armed Forces and in our spare time we work directly with people to build cost effective websites.
